The big drivers are making more use of all the candidate information out there. You’ve got to find the best. You’ve got to find them fast. You’ve got to find them first. That is what you need to do and that is why you come to Daxtra.”
Steve: So Daxtra team, the subject for discussion – what do you think the key trends are in HR Tech?
Terry: Automating the recruitment process, getting recruiters to work more efficiently and looking at different sources. I’ve seen a lot of different channels outside of the traditional recruitment sources here at this conference specifically.
Steve: What do you think of the proliferation of so many new vendors?
Terry: Well, it’s a good sign that the economy is on the up and up, but there are so many new technologies out there. I think that’s where it kind of gets confusing for customers – which products are going to be appropriate for their organization. It’s great to see that there’s so many vendors here, but again, I think it could be overwhelming for some of the folks out there looking for new solutions in the space.
Do you want better candidate data?

Steve: So, if you’re going to fix that confusion problem what would you do?
Terry: I would send people straight over to Daxtra!
Steve: That’s an excellent answer 🙂
Steve F: The key questions are… How they can make better use of data? Better use of the internet, better use of all of the candidate resources that are out there? And those are the key drivers that are going to be pushing at least the staffing side of HR.
Staffing is only 5% to 12% of HR, but from the staffing side, which is where we are, then the big drivers are making more use of all the candidate information out there. You’ve got to find the best. You’ve got to find them fast. You’ve got to find them first. That is what you need to do and that is why you come to Daxtra.
Brad: I think you’re seeing more challenges of candidate retention – hence a lot more booths here and software that is geared around trying to retain those that they’ve already acquired.
You can use technology such as idibu and Daxtra for speed to market, getting a job out there, finding the right candidate, but what do you do with that candidate once you find them? I think you’re seeing a lot more training, technology, reward, incentive-based technologies because I think that’s where the problem lies now.
Steve: Thank you all very much.
